We help you obtain evidence based evaluation information for use in strategic planning and informed decision making.

No two evaluation plans are alike; we work collaboratively with you to tailor a plan to the scope, stage and goals of your project. We have expertise in qualitative and quantitative methods, and implement developmental, formative and summative evaluations with a focus on generating meaningful data.

Developmental Evaluation

Typically used at the start of new projects, aligning assessment with organizational and program goals and strengthening your requests for internal or external funding.

Formative Evaluation

Typically used to demonstrate the impact of your ongoing project, providing decision makers with progress reports and evidence based recommendations.

Summative Evaluation

Typically used near the conclusion of your project to demonstrate the overall impact of your program to all interested stakeholders and potential future funders.

Our data collection and analysis methods include surveys, interviews, focus groups, ethnography, document analysis and the creation of case studies, applying rigorous standards to all of our work. We can generate reports and white papers, collaborate with you on writing reviewed publications, conduct on-site training and make presentations to your organizational leadership.

Operationally, developmental, formative and summative evaluation are integrated into an overall strategic plan that utilizes different processes and meaningful measurement metrics over the lifetime of your project.  We keep in close contact with you, believing that transparency and regular communication are vital for the success of any initiative.

Dr. Kaczmarczyk invests time early in a new project to learn its background and context, enabling her to craft a vision of how she can best support the effort. Her deep knowledge of technical and scientific fields of study, combined with experience with various funding processes, enables Dr. Kaczmarczyk to contribute in meaningful ways to proposal preparation. Some things we appreciate most about working with Dr. Kaczmarczyk is her careful planning, sense of organization and clear definition of team roles. She focuses on creating precise roadmaps of desired project goals and outcomes and uses these to build robust evaluation instruments and metrics. Rather than imposing a rigid framework on team processes, Dr. Kaczmarczyk skillfully co-creates evaluation protocols with clients thereby empowering them to develop their own capacity for setting goals and guiding project outcomes.
